Comment by Steve Bland on June 2, 2016 at 8:19am: As you may know, the Eisenhower Strike Group left Norfolk yesterday headed to the Persian/Arabian Gulf to eventually relieve the HST. Any predictions as to when CVN75 will arrive home?

Comment by Steve Bland on May 2, 2016 at 8:24am: Not sure about the leave issue, but I doubt it due to transportation difficulties. Someone else may know for sure. The Truman will return to Norfolk, and yes, families can meet the ship if they so desire.

1. Can a sailor take leave when the ship is deployed?

2. After deployment does the ship come back to Norfolk?

3. Do parents and friends normally meet the ship when it comes back to Norfolk?

Comment by Steve Bland on April 20, 2016 at 5:33pm: All I can say is that we have sent our son at least a dozen packages, and he has received all of them. Slow at first, but lately it seemed to be a 2 week delivery interval. With the ship in Bahrain, probably a mail delivery will definitely occur.
