Navy Dads

Anyone else have email issues with your Sailors CVN74 email?

When I "reply" to my sons USN email @CVN74 etc they are returned as undeliverable.

My email works fine.

Anyone?

Emailed my daughter this morning and had no problem with it did not come back as undeliverable

Send a test msg please. I hit reply again, just now and it was undeliverable. ???

I have not had any issues other than waiting for replies!

remember it is @cvn74.navy.mill

I am replying to his original email and I tried to send as I usually do via my address book for him. Still no luck.

Beck, Brian FC2/SW a href="mailto:brian.beck@cvn74.navy.mil">brian.beck@cvn74.navy.mil>;

Think I figured it out. His inbox must have exceeded his limit. Sent an email to anothe Stennis contact and it did not return.

Thanks,

BigJim

Make sure that the deleted items folder on FC2's end is emptied. MS Outlook will not see a smaller mailbox until that happens.

I wonder what the DFR <undeliverable> thread looks like? >>>

550 usually means that the mailbox does not exist -- obviously we know that's not true. hmmm my suggestion is to create a Gmail Account it would take to a minute and it's free. If you get the same DFR then it's on the @Navy.mil end of the port. If you do get through using Gmail it could mean a whole different ball of wax happening with your Yahoo mail account...

Hi Jim..I am not getting any email

 reply lately,no statement such as 'undeliverable' . I wasn't aware there was a problem.Thought it might have to do with fleet location. I appreciate reading your up to date comment.
