AWESOME Crystal!!!!! Give him our best and tell him we 'Thank him for his service" it is not easy in today's environment. We wish him all the best.

Almost 4 years ago my son left for a great adventure. Well he is keeping the adventure going. He will re-enlist on May 6 2010. He will stay attached to the Reagan until next Spring 2011. We`are flying out to be there for his re-enlistment ceremony.

Yes, our prayers are with Chief's family. My son said he did not have to be in the hot zone, but, that was the kind of guy he was. I also heard he was very hands on, a great Chief and very involved with his men who admired and respected him. They are all stunned by his loss. God bless you all...

We need to let our sailors know how much we love them and how proud we are every time we get a chance. Friday the RR lost a 36 year old Chief to an electrical accident. He left behind a wife and 2 yr old daughter. His mother sister and many other family members are shocked. They thought he was safe in port. Chief John Coney may your sails catch the wind. The winds be fair and the seas smooth. God Bless you.

My son John has proudly served as MM2Nuclear aboard the USS Ronald Reagan since it departed Norfolk en route to San Diego as its new home port. I am extremely proud of him, his service to his country, his devotion to his duties, and his love of country. He will be complete 8 years of service as of July 2010. He is looking forward to his college plans following discharge. He has truly enjoyed his service aboard CVN76 and will take with him a lifetime of memories and incredible experiences.

Crystal reminded me I did not update you all...DC son will be Medically Retired because 'taking anti-seizure medication is not consistent with being in the military." It is so weird because there is NO history of seizures on either side of the family.

So, sometime in July, at the ripe old age of 21 he will be 'retired' and on to other adventures. He is taking it very well and is choosing college courses and planning his future.

I will continue to be on-line here...your military family is important to me and I am more than happy to be supportive and help strengthen our collective backbone. Without our military we have nothing.

All my best to you all. Thank you~n

Justen's been home and is back in SD. He has the motor cycle safety course today & tomorrow. I am glad it might not be a big thing but every little thing helps. Hope everyone enjoyed their sailor as much as we did while on leave. Put a few pictures on my page. His friends kept taking and hiding my camera.
