My daughter is getting her first experience on nights. She was pretty disgusted to have to work a day light on her day off. She expected to have more time for quals, but it is not happening.
Chuck,
I have this ready for my nephew when he gets back. I know he'll get a blast out of this hehe! He's with the USS John C Stennis (CVN-74) currently at Naval Base Kitsap - Bremerton.
Gary,
My daughter got a chuckle out that post. She is with a squadron stationed at NQAS Oceana.
My daughter, Whitney, is an AO. She just graduated from Basic last Friday, and she is in Pensacola to start A-School on the 26th.
Kevin, Welcome to the AO group!

Thanks for the welcome Gary, my son is an AO with VFA 34 and currently spending a little time down in Key West. They have a couple of jets doing some air to air training (as I understand it).
not generally as far as I know.....should be off to a duty station for hands-on training
Son is now in Pensacola for A-School (AO). After A-School is there another school for AO ?
