My first order of Challenge Coins arrived in the mail! So I snuggled up next to my wife and showed her my new hobby. She says oh those are nice and perfect for you... Yippie! :P

Elmo, Thanks I'm excited about this new collection!

I'll definitely post pix as my collection grows. In the past I've collected stamps, minted presidential coins and other things in between. But this one feels a lot different; it feels special... It's probably because it symbolizes a close and personal meaning to heart with my son's service in the Navy. I gather other folks may have the same shared sentiments with their collection... I'll hit you up on more CCs I'm interested in getting my hands on.

Paul those holders you've made look awesome! Way to go Dad!

After watching the Challenge Coin video on here it would be neat to have a NavyDads.Com one hehe :)

I've thought about making a few on request for friends, but work (the paying kind !) seems to get in the way and they end up taking a couple of weeks...

for some ideas for other ways to display, check www.thepatriotwoodworker.com ..... there are some ingenious folks on there...

Paul, you missed your calling! You should be making coin holders for a living, LOL! Those are awesome!

Gary, I noticed you got off to a great start today! I can't wait to see pics of your collection as it grows.

And Marine Veteran Proud Navy Dad, How does that work in your household? LOL! Your welcome! I wish I would have thought to start this group years ago. Now we can give newbies to the challenge coin world actual pics of other dads collections and how they showcase them.

I can't wait to see the pics that are to come for this group and all the different ways we display them.
