I gave my son 2 challenge coins for his PIR: The RTC coin and the Ship 14 U.S.S. Arizona coin(his ship for boot camp). He is an E2 Seaman Apprentice studying to be a Fire Controlman, which I assume…Continue

Thanks Gary! I will be on search for the NATTC coin. I really like the Proud Father one! That is a must have.....Popeye and Bazo Zulu may find their way into the collection as well! :-)

I've placed several Challenge Coin orders at our online store.

To date, this one is my favorite one...I believe every collector should have a set, or at the very least, one of these coins!

I picked up these two last weekend at NEX - Naval Base San Diego. I just thought they were neat hehe!

Bill- I know there is at least one Corry Station coin out there, but think it was made several years ago and not currently produced.....maybe check on Amazon, EBAY, and Google.....

Gary, Paul:
My son is in A school in Pensacola for IT. He is actually in the technical school at Corry Station. Is that considered part of NAS Pensacola? The reason for the question is that I see there is a challenge coin for NAS but not specific to Corry. Would you buy that one given the situation or only is he was attending in some type of aviation program? Like you guys, I want to buy coins that are relevant to him. Thanks!

Getting antsy to build another holder.....this one will be unique if I can get it right.....but the heat and humidity this time of year is a hindrance in my shop so we'll see.....think I need to go buy some more exotic wood.....hmmmmmm....there is a sale today and tomorrow at Woodcraft......

Gary, that is my strategy as well to collect those that have some connection with my son. I will probably be the collector as I cannot imagine my son wanting to pack these up and move them about the world when he finishes school and is deployed. But someday when his stint with the Navy ends.....whether in 4 years or 20+ he will definitely come heir to them.
