Meet and Greet Information!

It's getting close to PIR gentlemen! We discussed it and decided we would meet up at Flanagan's for their meet and greet.

- Free music and Karaoke starting at 8:00pm

- $10 Gift Certificate for navy graduates meal (steak and seafood included)

- You may use your $10 gift certificate you received from participating hotels (or ask for one when you come in) for dinner during or after the Meet & Greet at Flanagan's.

- $2 Import Tap

- $2 Domestic Bottle

The Meet and Greet will begin at 5pm each Thursday, or day before Graduation, and will end around 9pm.

Found out he is in drum line (tenors) and that the food was "one step above school lunch" quality. Guess he was missing mom's cookin'! :) Was so good to hear from him! We can't wait for 10/12!

Comment by Allen Pool on September 8, 2012 at 10:08pm: We have booked the Navy Lodge from 11th to the 14th, in hopes of Dan getting at least Saturday liberty with us. He will have A school there at Great Lakes, so won't be flying out. He is in ship 14 div 333 and we have received 4 letters now, but no phone call yet. Sounds like he's doing well, but says there are quite a few in his division that don't quite understand the whole discipline concept yet, so it is causing the whole division a lot of extra grief. I'm sure they'll get it figured out before long.

She did say that she is the oldest in her ship and feels like a referee and babysitter. She has a friend that had an "extra spot" on her list so all 5 of us will be able to get in. I dodged a bullet on that one. Going to make my reservations next week. Not sure if I will stay at the Navy Lodge (if there is still room) or the Hilton (have a few free nights owed to me).

Funny how much I look forward to getting a letter from her. She got a 10 min phone call yesterday but talked with the GF. I wrote her today and told her I would just like 1 call....being a vet, I want the "I'm a sailor" call.
