So Chaz shipped on the 17th. We got his address and he's in Division 944. He may have volunteered but his recruiter said more than likely, they volunteered him - haha. Really looking forward to hearing from him whenever that will be.

Chaz is a trombone player too. Chaz's mom & I were both in band through college and couldn't wait for our kids to get to middle school so they could be in band. We have a 16 year old that plays alto sax. We hope he decides to follow his brother's lead but for now we are thrilled with Chaz's decision to go Navy. Thanks for creating this group.

This is great! My son Chaz just graduated from Rowlett High School in Rowlett TX. He was accepted into the Navy band & is shipping out for basic July 17. Im so excited for him I can hardly stand it. What a great way to begin a career in music; serving your country doing something you love & getting a paycheck for it to boot! It's got to be the best job in the world.
I was looking for a band related group & this just dropped into my inbox!
