My son arrived 23 NOV 15. Being discharged for hearing loss. He's been there since week 1. Today is 15 DEC. his papers are there but are not signed. If not signed by Thursday, he won't be home for Christmas . He was willing and eager to serve. I feel like he's being imprisoned. I can't help it. He is devastated at being separated. We all are! He never showed signs of hearing loss. Please, please let them know that we want him home for Christmas. If he can't be on the Navy, it's too hard to sit there. His dream was AO. Life must now be re-thought.
Welcome to NavyDads SepsAdmin! I'm sure you'll find the site as useful, educational and informative as I have. Explore the site and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I certainly have! If you have any questions or concerns or comments...please post them! I'm lucky enough to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) returned spring '09 from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) just completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And SepsAdmin this is a great place to brag as well! So join in and let us know how you are doing! We do ask that you remember that we talk about the Navy here and we must keep the security and safety of our sailors in mind at all times. On the right side of every NavyDads page is an area we call About This Site. Please take a minute and read through the Operations Security (OPSEC) link and the NavyDads Guidelines link. And stop by the NavyDads offical store- Navyoutfitters.com. Show your support for NavyDads by wearing the latest in NavyDads attire. Best Regards- Paul
When my son first enlisted into the Navy I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to his future. Soon after that, I created this site for us Dads. Let me start by being the first to thank you for your commitment to serve our country and for protectiing its freedom. We dads and moms on here are very proud of all our Sailors serving in the Navy. Please jump right in and make this site your own. We love our Sailors on here! They have been a big help to us parents and we hope to them as well. Also we will support you every step throughout your journey in the Navy. We parents on this site are here for anything you need. God bless you in your travels and thanks again for joining us.
