GREETINGS ..ATTENDED PIR FOR GREG JR. TODAY.. I'M STILL SKY HIGH. THE

SAILORS WERE SHARP AS TACKS IN BOTH THEIR DRESS AND DRILL SKILLS.

NAVY BAND WAS FANTASTICK AS WELL AS THE SILENT DRILL TEAM. SHARP,

REAL SHARP, THEY MUST HAVE BEEN COACHED BY THE USMC SILENT DRILL

TEAM (LOL)  REALLY, THEY WERE ON POINT. MY…

MY SON, GREG JR. AND THE SAILORS ON SHIP 09, DIV 355 HAVE COMPLETED BATTLE STATIONS

AND HAVE RECEIVED THEIR NAVY BALLCAPS. WHAT A PROUD ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR THESE SAILORS

GOD BLESS AND WATCH OVER THEM AS THEY STAND WATCH

I HAVE TO SAY, READING ALL THIS E-MAIL TRAFFIC IS REALLY PUMPING ME UP. THIRTEEN DAYS AND

Received my first phone call from my son grgory yesterday (9/27). it was

great to hear from him. sounded good (confidant). my son is assigned to

ship 09  division 355. i read all the posts about PIR and i can't wait to be

there on 2, Nov, 2012. Greg will be the next set of footprints in a long

family line of…

greetings...any dads out there with a sailor on ship 9, div 355 at RTC?  also, is there

anyone going to EN "A" School? What does an EN do, i've read the job description, but

does anyone out there have any experience in this Rate. thanks

WELL, IT'S BEEN A WEEK TODAY SINCE GREG JR. LEFT FOR RTC.  I WAS ABLE TO BE THERE WHEN HE AND HIS FELLOW SERVICEMAN  TOOK THEIR ARMED FORCES OATH AT FT. HAMILTON, BROOKLYN, NY.

A VERY MOVING AND POWERFUL CEREMONY. ONE OF OUR MEMBERS SAID HE FELT LIKE HE WAS

SEEING HIS SAILOR GO TO KINDERGARTEN WAY BACK WHEN. WELL I'LL TELL YOU, I FELT THE SAME WAY  TIMES 10...

I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE RECEIVING INFORMATION FROM RTC IN 2 WEEKS. CAN'T WAIT. I ALREADY

WROTE HIM A LETTER…

my son, Greg Jr., is shipping out to Recruit Training on Sept 3rd...already my emotions are running wild..He'll be going to Engineman "a" school after that.  Got to get used to being the Father of a Sailor in the United States Navy. That's all i can say right now.    God Bless America
