Ok yall...please explain this 'gifting" business! I know I'm not computer literate, my 17 yr old will tell you that. I could follow directions...if there were any...and not difficult to follow. I hear some snickers out there! I 'gifted' a box to a friend on N4M's, used 75 credits. Logged onto Navy Dads and found I couldn't 'gift' Michele because I only had 25 credits left. Huh?! How do you get more credits so I can cutsie up some dad pages with teddy bears and such? Heehee

Okay, all you dads. I have a question that only you, as males, can answer. I have this 20 yr old, who will be 21 at the end of the month, acting like his knee will just take care of itself without any help.



My question to you is: What is in the male brain, at that age, that makes you think that way? He can do some knee strengthening exercises that will help him running, and hiking, and eventually repelling down a rope from a helicopter. He can do these exercises, in his room, after… Continue

Morgan did it! He went through two "hell weeks". I got a text from him today saying he passed the Casualty Assessment Test (CAT) and completed the 8 mile hike. These were two huge tests for all of them. He is so tired of going through school, but is realizing that there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.



He will not know where his final duty station is until after he graduates, but it will be there in Camp Pendleton. We do know he's assigned to the 1st Marine Div. Graduation… Continue

So here I sit, waiting for time to go by so we can get in the car, drive 10 min., park, go inside the airport, and wait, and wait, and wait. Usually the Navy's hurry, hurry, hurry, to wait. Not today. Why does time do this?
