Navy Dads

My fiancé and I have been trying to figure out what we need to get married in December. I don't understand though!! Does he need permission? What information do I need? Is there any paperwork that needs to be done ahead of time? I'm at a loss! I don't know what else to do! He's in a school and gets out on leave on December 21. He's an FC so what does he have to do or need and same for me? Please can anyone help me?! I've about lost my mind...

Hello

He (Sailor has to notify his Chain of Command by submiyying A request chit to inform the Chain he is getting married. Additionally he has to go to his Personnel Support Detachment to add his new bride to his Page 2 so she can enjoy the benefits of a Navy Spouse

I've looked at tons of different websites asked questions and you were my best help. I sent an email and received my reply. He will need permission and if it's received he must take a class before it's allowed. If anyone else comes up with this question now you guys know :) thank you once again!!

He's currently stationed in Great Lakes and yesterday I found something stating that military members are not required to get permission to be married unless their spouse is a foreign national. I've lived in Alabama my entire life so I know I'm safe haha but my fiancé told me that it doesn't apply to him there due to his A school. So I'm at a loss. Every time I think I've got something turns out I don't :/ I'd really appreciate some help :)
