Navy Dads

Well my son Nick shipped out yesterday to bootcamp at Great Lakes Ill. Bitter sweet, now I know how my mom felt when I left back in '87. He's going to do great, I know. He is a lot better prepared than I was. So very proud! I know the Navy is a little strong today! I pray the Lord to give him strength, courage and confidence. Love you son, your always in my heart.

Hey Chip, my son Brad left on January 8th also. And like you I realized how my parents felt when I did it back in '83. I know he was way more prepared than I was with all of the available information on the Internet and since I was a recruiter myself for 4 years I was able to help out some. I'm sure they will do well. Take Care.

Nick will do great, it go's by so quick. My son has been in for 7 yrs and still likes it. At first he wasn't sure, but it got easier as time went. I wish him well, and hope he has a great career.
