Navy Dads

Anyone in ship 11 div 213, PIR 7/13/2012?

We have not received a letter nor a phone call, it's been 3 weeks since my SR son went to RTC. I was wondering if other Dads from this group we're having the same or different experience.

My son is 213. I received mail last Friday also. No phone call yet, though. I sent some of the calling cards; so I'm looking forward to the call--I hope I get to pick up the phone first. Don't tell his mom.

My daughter is in Ship 11 Div 213. I recieved a letter from her last Friday (1 June). You should be recieving one very soon. It's normal to not get a letter until the 2nd or 3rd week.

My son is in different ship/div but same PIR date. He left for boot camp

May 16 and still no letter or call yet. I'm thinking sometime this week or weekend.

Wife heard from a mom on navyformoms that son was awarded a phone call in my son's

ship/division and said that everyone was going to be calling this weekend. Crossing fingers.

Chuck...I recieved the first letter at the beginning of week 3 and the first call came 2 days later.....my son and 2 others had aced an exam and were awarded a 15 min call home....this was a friday afternoon....the next wednesday, I recieved a 2nd call which the entire division made...I think this was the mid way call....it was for 20 mins....calls vary with RDC's....I've heard family members got more, some far less....it is very gratifying though for any communication.. Hope you hear soon...
