Yes, Geoff is on Ship 09 Div 205. He is younger than your boyfriend, but not as young as many there. In fact, he was telling us that he had not gotten the whole Div in trouble or himself, but the 4-5 oz. training books get heavy when you have to hold them at arm's length for 5-7 minutes. He said some of the younger guys have not learned so quickly. Geoff is 24. He will be heading to A School in Charleston after bootcamp. What about Chip? Thanks for your message. June 17 is approaching but none to rapidly.

Geoff was also in the band and I'm sure he is not having a problem with marching. He was section leader of the percussion section his Sr. year in HS. Geoff is also an E-3 as he will be a NUKE. Learning to run the Nuclear Power Plant on a sub or aircraft carrier. Mom told me Chip was the one sworn in by himself, so I now know who is his. Geoff will head to Charleston, SC for A School. It is nice making a connection. Later.

He likes Geoff because he is intelligent & mature & knowing Chip, Geoff must be fun. Some of the younger guys must really be struggling. Chip went in as an E-3 but is just going in for reserves right now.  He is submitting an officer package to intell.  They have a board that meets a couple times a year and he was not accepted the first time but his intell lieutenant (that's who swore him in) wants him to keep re-applying. So for now his A School, I think is in Mississippi - Logistics.

Chip said he was helping the div with marching because it was just like marching band in high school. Chip was also a lifeguard so his swim qual. was easy for him.

Hey, stay in touch! We can swap stories. I talked to "Mom" on the Navy for Moms site.
