getting better
my son graduates a school in 9 days and then hes home for 10. things have been much better since a school he is enjoying it now and that makes me happy. he will be stationed in san diego on the uss makin island.

Hi Jim! Hey bob I think quite a few youngsters are a bit overwhelmed with basic training. I know our son took a bit to get used to it and like you stated ,after A school things kinda leveled out. Once our son got to Hueneme all was good. He is now on his 2nd tour overseas and ready to transfer down South this fall and considering re-enlistment.It's a long journey for our sailors and all we can do is hope that they are able to make the best of it with as much support as we parents can give when needed.
