Any ideas on time frame for getting to the graduatioh on time. We have reservations in hotel supposed to be 5 miles from the base. I understand gates open asround 6 and have to be in seats by 8:45. We will be in our own vehicle and are wondering about actual time required between getting to gate, parking and getting into building?

Shuttle!!! By 6:15 the line will be a quarter of a mile long.......

From everything I've read you'd want to be there when the gates open because of the long lines. My son's PIR is 9/23 so we plan on taking either a shuttle if the hotel offers it or what I've read is the Taxi's which are $3 a head. From everything I've read on this site it's the fastest way of getting into the base. This is what my husband and I have decided to do.
