Navy Dads

My son graduates 11/12/10. We have five children and he was only able to invite 4 guests. There are 7 divisions graduating on the 12th. Are there usually extra seats for the guests not identified on his list? In addition to my wife, children and his grandparents there is a total of eight of us. Anyone think we will have difficulty getting us all in and seated?

getting one in SHOULD not be a problem....the Navy will try to accomodate everyone, but the hall gets filled quite fast....read the most recent posts in the PIR group from John.....

that's why they might have to wait in a holding area. Regardless, they will need proper ID.

read through a bunch of the old posts in the PIR group there are some dealing with extra guests.

You can also click Groups at the top of the page, and on the groups page is a search box.....enter "extra guests" or "ID" and see what pops up

Any difficulty with security if they are not on "the list"

The Navy will try to reasonably accommodate extra folks...they may have to wait outside until seating is about complete and there is a chance they will not get in. Of course if everyone brought 4 extra guests then things would get really crowded.......
