This is all part of breaking the dependance on home and turning civilians into sailors. You should start to hear some news soon...typically week 3 and 4 are when the letters start to arrive and you get some calls.....

well i am hopeing to find out more about the 2/914 thats the DIV she is in. this is week 3 still no words from her hope all is going good for her. me and her mom miss her lots

Hi Frank, My son is 2/910. I have been gathering most of my information from Navy for Moms (shich my wife is subscribed to) and FaceBook. Looking forward to PIR and seeing my son perform in the graduation ceremony. He had 4 years of marching band in school and plays clarinet. I am assuming that's why he was selected for this group. He arrived at Great Lakes on 11/16, which seems to be a week before most of the rest of the SRs.
