Tamie thanks,
yes it is awesome! Whatever we can raise I'm sure the Sailors of the Bainbridge will enjoy our thank you package and they will know that us Navy Parents support them as much as we do our own Sailors. So far there have been all amounts of donations 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, & 100. Currently we have raised $570. I will post the total amount tomorrow morning of today's total. I'm looking into the labels tomorrow to see if we can get them done in time. Also I know of some more computer savvy people that are able to print their own labels. The labels I send out on my packages will have something like, The Navy Dads & Navy Moms want to thank you from NavyDads.com. I can't put N4M's on the packages because that is not my site. We also have members sending goodies to them that they will be able to label them as they wish. I will check into the welding, I believe he would want to be a Navy Diver to weld for the Navy or maybe construction. I'll look into it and let you know. Thank you for helping in this cause, I believe these young men and women should be thanked for their heroic deed.

hey how was your trip.. ours was fine just quick. Scott went to 29palms Friday afternoon, with his buds.. Betty and I went on to 29 plams before him and got into our room. It was a bittersweet reunion to say the least, trying to corrall our emotions and spending quality time as well. I hope we accomplished both?? How was your trip and visit. Did your son transfer out? where to again?
shame we did not see each other but, we left so quickly, we only in Pendleton for the one night.

Welcome to NavyDads Tamie! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is almost two months into a seven-month deployment on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat just returned from her seven-month deployment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Tamie this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how Michael is doing! Best Regards- Paul

Tamie, Welcome Aboard! and thanks for joining us dads. I'm so glad to have the moms on here to keep us men in line. We will help in any way we can. So please jump right in share concerns, join groups, and show off your sailor. I hope this site will benefit you during your sons journey in the Navy. Thank your son for his service for me and thanks again for joining. Sincerely, EG
