better question is how someone ends up on the carpet before A school starts?!?!?!??!?!?!?! thats an accomplishment even for me.....is everyone ok? no one hurt career wise?

How does a person get involved in things like honor guard, drill team or flag guard? Is there time?

My son has his mailing address. I just can't get it from him. I've actually been to his room, and still can't figure it out. He's close enough that we can visit when it works for all of us.

Things got serious this week, and everyone at A school should take due notice thereof and govern themselves accordingly: his class attended Captain's Mast for several cases and punishments were handed out. They be serious. These are men and must take responsibility for their actions.

My son got to A School in San Antonio for MAA. He starts classes next Monday and is pretty excited. His roommate was "pinned" with his MAA Badge today!

Going to visit our Sailor this weekend. first time to see him since the beginning of December. Right now he's sick in quarters, and missing his phasing up. I hope he's better Saturday.

Steve, I am sure once your son gets settled in at A-School he will have his mailing address and room number. That info should be quicker in coming since it will be your sailor passing the information on. May he have the best of luck in A-School. Gary T.

Mark Twain said that the coldest winter he ever spent was a summer in San Fransisco. My wife and kids lived there while we were separated (by 3,000 miles) and visits could be very cold, especially at night.

Steve, he had to go buy and Eisenhower jacket for his uniform because it gets a little chilly there. It is 49 there this morning but only has a high of 62 today. Poor baby, I feel so sorry for him.
