I really thought we'd get a call that they made it through battle stations, but calls have been pretty random so who knows....Can only assume they did. We take off about noon tomorrow from Calif. Have a safe trip.....Rick

Got a call from my daughter again yesterday, her div won the captains cup so they got to spend the afternoon at Ricky Heaven. She is just having fun now, and her RDC's are obviously in a great mood as well. They run BATTLE STATIONS tomorrow night, just about done. We'll be staying at the Navy Lodge over next weekend so hope to see some other parents there. Can't wait for PIR.......Rick

Meagan & Jeremy were able to co-ordinate their time enough to get married last week. He's off to Norfolk and she'll join him as soon as school and transfer orders come through.

thanks rick, and congratulations on your daughter's upcoming graduation, it will be a very proud day, one thing i was fortunate to discover is the amount of public support of our troops, we had several people come up and shake her hand with appreciation. Makes a dad's heart swell with pride.

HooYah Rick--- you'll also get a call after the capping ceremony that ends battle stations...that'll be an emotional one too! You're gonna love PIR- please be sure to share your impressions and hints that you may have for other dads! Paul

Got an early wakeup call from my daughter first thing this morning. All the senior divisions were adopted out for Thankgiving day. They get to stay out all day and can make as many phone calls as they want. We hadn't heard from her since the 15th so it was a real surprise to beable to talk and get caught up on her progress. There whole div passed the PFA with a 5.0 the other day. They will do battle stations the first of the week and be ready to go on Fri. My day has been made.....Happy Thanksgiving all.....Rick
