Congratulations Charles on your daughters graduation. My daughter's PIR is 12-5, can't wait. We will be there proud next week. Thanks to your daughter also on her decision to serve, like I told my daughter it takes guts to go, they are a special breed. Happy Thanksgiving.......Rick

We just returned from pir 11-21-08 it was fantastic to see all of the fine young sailors, the true cream of american youth, balls as big as church bells, ready to kickass and take names. We could not be more proud of our daughter and the choices she makes. We are truly thankful for all of our volunteer military force. America is the greatest , god bless.

HooYah Don....I have to add congratulations to Melissasue! I hope you'll be able to meet-up with Gregg and celebrate your girls! And the invitation extends to you to help other dads just starting the Navy journey with their concerns and questions.

To all of you-- it is important to remmember that NavyDads is here to support you after PIR as well! A lot of us have sons and daughters in the fleet and the learning never seems to stop for us either! Stay active with us and continue as your girls enter the fleet. Paul

Hats off and a Bravo Zulu to Jessie and Whitney for starting their Navy journey! We have dads just going through the arrival-of-the-box and waiting -for-the-call stage and its important for htme to know that there is light at the end of the dark tunnel. When you get a chance, please share your impressions of PIR and if you have any hints or tips for other dads, please be sure to share those as well. We're all in this amazing journey together and you spending your time in NavyDads and helping others is part of that. Congratulations to Jessie and next week to Whitney for becoming sailors in the United States Navy! Paul

I had to take a minute and brag a little...got a text from Kat and she made third class! I asked if I have to address her as Petty Officer Third Class Corona....she gave me one of those "oh dad!!" Hoping to get a pic one of these days with the chevron rather than the three stripes so I can barg some more!

Welcome Norman--- how much longer will Mindy be stationed in Guam? I imagine she'll have some interesting stories when she is stateside again!
