laughing about that as carrier bunks are the same size and just as crowded!!!!

We did one on her destroyer, Hawaii to San Diego, so have the bunk business down.  We're already getting vibes from her two younger sisters that it is "our turn" since they've found out it will be a carrier.  LOL!

Tiger Cruises are an awesome experience....didn't get to do one on Kat's carrier (USS Abraham Lincoln) but did a cruise on her brothers carrier (USS Theodore Roosevelt).....

Good for Kat!  And a lovely area to have schooling, too.  Our daughters has orders cut, effective next February, from San Diego to the East Coast and a whole new experience being part of an aircraft carrier not yet even in the water.  Can hardly wait for the Tiger Cruise on that one!

Hey everyone...how are your girls doing?  Since Kat's enlistment was up in '10 been kinda outta the group so haven't been here much.  Kat has just switched schools and left Art Institute of Seattle for a college with more coding and less design..she is studying web development....and maybe will be able to help poor old dad spruce up the site a little someday!!!!

Donald:  That comes with the territory sometimes.  Once during boot camp, our daughter called (we have cells only), and the conversation was, "Is Mom there, too?"  No, she's at work.  "Okay, I'll call here there.  Love you."  Click.  But, but . . .  LOL!

Have not talked to my daughter since she has been in boot camp. Her Mom has talked to her twice. Have been getting.
letters quite regurally. Can't wait to see her in 21/2wks. other ships got to call 2 days in a row on the 4th of July. Very sad!!

Enjoy her while she is home and thank her for her service!  I'll pass her name along to my daughter.

She went to Sasebo in May 2012.  Her first posting.  She is home for her first leave since she left - 13 months.  Too long!!

How long has she been in Sasebo?  My daughter is LT Kollmar.  She is a physical therapist so if your daughter needs a PT there is a good one available.  This is her first billet overseas.  Thanks for commenting!
