Are Son also went it last week and I believe it's Div.804. No box yet as well. They had a little snow Sunday and I'm sure they were on snow watch.

SR, my son started last week as well. I'm still waiting to hear what division he is (sounds like the SOs are in 800 divisions) and when they stand it up. looking for the box to arrive as well - hoping it has some more info in it. But - no news is good news at this point.

Sr, we have all been there and know what you are feeling. I talked with lots of people here and on other sites, to get question answered about what was going on and when I would hear more from my GS. Now I am back in the same boat. GS is deployed, don't know where in this world he is, although I think I know the area he is in, but does not help much. This was the first Thanksgiving my family has been through that we could not get in a car, plane, on computer or phone and text a member of the family. The PM feature is great to talk with others and not have feeling broadcast or OPSEC rules to contend with. We sometimes exchange email address to be more private (considering nothing is private anymore).

To all the Navy dads, I'm new at this and my son Jr has been away for 4 days and it's been a very long 4 day Jr and I were close I miss the kid a lot. I have been spending a lot of time on Navy dads the site help a lot.

I've checked the settings Jim between this group (since I'm a member) and the PIR group (since I created it) and the settings are the same.  RSS is unselected in both so I'm kinda at a loss as to the difference in behavior.

I have created a group for class 288.  It is a moderated group.   GO NAVY....
