Michele, that is some of the stuff we have had here in TEXAS!! (but no flooding) We had a tornado touch down (about 1.5 hours north of where I live) and we had tornado watches and warnings and a little rain (and small hail) and then 2 days later, we had SNOW in Dallas!! (didn't stick but it was pretty to see on TV --- just frozen precip in Arlington but I am HOPING and PRAYING for a WHITE CHRISTMAS! Will ya'll join me in praying for that since my son will be GONE (he's overseas on a mission for 6 mos.) and I am almost broke this season. SNOW would make me (and my daughter!!) sooooo happy!! She's 20 but she loves snow just like her Mom does! (and my Mom loved it too but passed away in 1993). THANKS for any and all prayers! (it says in the bible we can pray for "whatever" -- God will hear us and answer our prayers!) Hope ya'll don't think I'm nuts! (I'm not!!!)
Lauren: Come on over here! We'd love to have ya!!! Dallas/Fort Worth is the PLACE TO BE!!! (esp. in this economy!!)

and Michele you better watch what you say I have never been to N.C. and I plan on seeing every state of this beautiful counrty.......and you all my son is in Pearl so you are welcome to come visit with me . I know he just bought a ticket and they are down to 700.00

LOL No Natalie I live in NC which is almost Cali :) just the opposite coast. We have been getting pounded with rain now for 2 days, flash flood warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, tornado warnings, and even winter weather warnings lol amazing how the weather can go from one extreme to the next extreme in less than 24 hours!! Yeah our weather people are saying a mild winter too but with what the temps have been the last month and a half it is hard to believe that lol. Lauren you can come to NC too, we normally aren't this cold ;).

Michele, you must be in Cali, huh? I have never even seen Cali but sure hope to some day! Lauren, that is VERY cool. If I lived somewhere where it snowed all of the time in the winter, I'd probably hate it too (esp. if I didn't have a garage!) Me and my sis think we are going to have a cold (and snowy!) winter but the weathermen are saying "mild". We shall soon see! Our "high" temp yesterday was ONLY 45 and they had snow falling in Dallas on Tues. night so, we will see about that!! =) You can move to Texas, Lauren and help me sell some houses!! (I'll help you find a house since I'm a REALTOR!!)

ok I'm snack dab in the middle of Illinois so we can talk snow, but not sun and warm......please ..... I hate the cold , the good news is my youngest is 18 so now I got him raised I can move.........WOOHOO
