Kelly, I just read your son is a MM. My son is in GL for A school taking BECC right now, would you happen to be able to tell me what comes after that and how long this is? I keep getting different answers to that question. He thinks it should end about mid May by counting the days though.

Good morning everyone , have not been on in a while . I'm also in school full-time and with other groups and life it gets busy .....
I must say, after reading back a couple of pages.
I don't know about all the other groups on N4M but,
we have a great single group and a group that is knitting ( making blankets) for our sailors, over on N4M never once have we had any conflict in our conversations..and won't pick on anybody don't doesn't want to be pick on.
So please join us.

Jon - That is right hehehe all this schoolwork is clouding my memory on other everyday knowledge. I know there is an base in Fayetteville, can't recall its name now.

Kelly - Probably the best rule to follow ;) just stay out of it.

Hope you all have a great week!!! Don't forget to check out my grandbaby & Son's pictures!

Yes, Michele, it gets pretty heated sometimes but I just read and stay out of it. For the most part all the moms are great and very supportive.

One of my girlfriends has a son that is stationed at Lejune and he is a marine. He has done 2 tours in Iraq. He is one of the guys on the front line. He has lost a few guys in his platoon so it has been hard for him and her. Boy these kids are tough.

Thought I would pop in again today, since I have my math submissions to 2 tasks done for school :). A big weight off my shoulders for sure! I heard from my son last night, he was very very tired from the long drive he had to get back to base. He had duty at 4pm so he didn't get any rest hehehe, they are young, they can handle it. . .

Kelly, wow people actually pull in conversations that get heated! Sheesh I hope I don't have to be SPNS police hehehe. The dad's site is less dramatic in that way, probably why I haven't ventured over to the mom's site.

Subs. . .I would get clostaphobic down there lol. It is great that we have young people that can handle the small spaces :).

Jon - I thought Camp Lejune was an Army base?? What town is it in again or close by?

Hey Jon, I have to say of all the groups that I belong to, the single groups seem to be the best. We talk about our kids and at the same time keep everyone up to date about our relationships. I have to laugh sometimes because these women are funny. I also belong to another group on N4M and they get into some heavy conversations. A couple of women were at each other a little and then another subject was being discussed and the Admin finally sent a comment to the group telling them it was not appropriate to have the conversation on site. I was glad about that because it wasn't appropriate. I stayed out of that conversation. Well it is nice talking to you on both sites. Have a good day and week. I am keeping my fingers crossed, my son has his comps tomorrow and if all goes well I will be heading down to SC on Thursday for graduation on Friday.
