Navy Dads

Hello again all.

Since my son signed up last summer, I  have given thought to the Blue Star flag. I know about them and the use in WWI and WW II. My Fathers Mother's flag had three blue stars. My Mothers Mother had one Blue Star. Sadly that Blue star had to be covered with a Gold star when the Indianaoplis was sunk.

It would seem that the Blue Star Flag is being used again.

Anyone know of the current proper respected use of the Blue Star Flag ?

HI Gary.

Quite a place, and if you get bored, you can go across the street to Valley Fair and spend even more money. :)

Hi Jim.Have you by any chance tried the "wall hooks" advertized on tv ? The ones with the removeabele"glue". Bet they would work great on glass. You can get the ones from 3M in hardware stores.

I found some similartype adhesive callsglue dots. Come on a roll much like scotch tape. The are bout the size of a flattened pea.

We have two sons serving in the Navy, so we got a two star license plate for the front of our car (PA only has plates on the rear) and we have a decal for our van. We do get questions as to what it means and we are glad to explain what it.

Jim. Thanks for the link and the picture of your Blue Star Flag. Its beautiful!

It doesn't HAVE to be in the window?

You know another positive part of a Blue Star Flag being displayed, is that is will attract attention and help make others aware of those who protect their Freedoms.
