OK, I got the 30 sec call. Got the form letter. Almost got the RTC's FB Tuesday Trivia (missed it by a quote mark). Waiting on his first letter.
Any other 07/107s out there?

Hi my son is 07/107. I got the same stuff. Also waiting for the first letter. Bummer about the trivia, well keep trying!! I am actually a mom, but my husband used my email for this site, so I am also on this one. He will be very excited to know that my son is not the only one in 07/107!!
Hey, "Ray." I am on Navy moms, so I guess that makes us even. So, mine is in the Nuke program. What does yours want to do?

My son is going into Aviation Electronics. He is to go to Pensacola for "A" school. I just hope that does not mean he is a grad and go. Where is the NUKE "A" school?
Nuke A school is in Charleston, SC - a pretty sweet gig, as far as the place goes. But the coursework is very intense. Then he does another school there, then works with a prototype reactor either there or in Ballston Spa, NY. He has a long way to go before he gets to fleet.
I don't expect to see him other than after PIR and that evening on liberty. He didn't want me at the airport when he left for boot camp, and I suspect he doesn't want me hanging around O'Hare. But we'll see.

You never know. He also knows that it will be awhile before he will get to see you again.
I on the other hand will be going to see my son off at at the airport. I don't think I will get a chance to go to Florida either. Maybe it is just a "Mom" thing. Around here there are a lot of "Mom" things.
Yeah, and when he realizes he could get his cell and iPad from me at the airport, he's probably going to want that.

Oh yes he will. I will have to bring my son's laptop and cell phone. My other son wanted some civilian clothes, too.
