I have yet to hear a date for my Son's Division's PIR. He would have just finished week 1. He shipped out of Denver on 3/7. I got a phone call from him from his cell when he got to O'hare, but nothing once he got to RTC. Got his box of personal items so i know he's there! Couldn't be more proud of the kid. Anyone know a PIR date if 1-1 day was 3/12? Anyone else have a recruit in this Div?

I know from the navyformoms site that Ship 9/137 and Ship 9/138 have PIR of 05/04 so I would imagine that 9/137 is the same.
Thanks for the info Robert.
Jason not to worry remeber no news is good news. My son is now at A school in Groton CT. We did not hear from him much while he was in Boot Camp they keep it that way so not to distract them from there training. You should receive the official letter soon it will have your parking password, Mailing information ext. They usually do not let them start to write letters until week 3. It will seem like a long time but when you see him at PIR you will not beleive the change. Somthing to look foward to PIR was a great experience. One suggestion is go to the meet and greet we went to Sarg's Meet and Greet and it was very informative.
I'm really not too worried. I think he'll do just fine. I was a Navy Boot back in '88 and although the RTC format seems a bit different, i bet the "nuts and bolts" are similar. I remember having to write letters home while sitting on the crapper!
Where was the meet and greet and was it before PIR??
Thanks for the response.
here is some info about Sarge's meet-n-greet and services: https://api.ning.com/files/q3GsmQc6VzyrxWDGQjdt5gfJ48Qri4Fh76O2Gbfa...
