Anyone else saddened by current world events and the relation it has on our Stennis Sailors and their families? I am way bummed.

Folks this means our Sailors are gone again for Christmas and leaving very soon to go somewhere, much sooner than they/we were told. Yes suck it up, but dam.

definitely not happy to see this happening. I have been told and have said, "This is the Navy. Ship happens!" I'm watching closely.

Good morning!!

Very sad about all this!!...I wont have my son again for the Hollydays for the 3rd year!!....

If there is any new information that you could share about the deployment, please let me know what to do to receive it.

Thank you, have a nice day all!

Make sure that all of you are keeping in touch withthe Ombudsman and family readiness group. They will be the best sources for what is happening.

Hey all, I pray for everyone on CVN-74 may Godspeed their return home. We were expecting our nephew to come home (for vacay) but I gather this impromptu series of events will not make this possible. Hang in there...

It is my hope that we see my son briefly and perhaps make the most of the time we have. We live in a complicated world, and a study of current events shows spiraling tensions in areas of existing concern. Our task is to support them, to maintain positive communication and let them know we're proud of them. It is difficult, even (or perhaps "especially") at this point in life, to see loved ones take their places in duty. May time pass quickly until we celebrate again their return.
