Navy Dads

This Discussion is intended as a place where parents and other loved ones who have SRs with a PIR of 30 November to gather and meet-and-greet and talk about this adventure.  Of course, I suppose anyone is welcome.

If anyone knows of others on facebook and navyformoms.com, please direct them this way, too.

Hopefully, this will be a place where we can share stories about phonecalls and letters from our SRs.

And I look forward, already, to meeting all of y'all at PIR.

Sincerely,

Scott

Attention on deck!

From RTC:

There will be FIFTEEN divisions graduating Nov. 30th. RTC is abiding by the policy that Active Duty/military retirees and children twelve and under do not count toward the 4 invitations each recruit receives. However, if an individual is not on the access list they will NOT be able to enter the drill hall (NO stand by). Please plan on arriving at least two hours before the ceremony, which begins promptly at 9 a.m. Thanks to all for your continued support of Recruit Training Command, the Navy's only boot camp!

Happy Birthday Jim. I agree with Jack that you and NavyDad's was a treasure trove of information for us for PIR and for the future. I did speak to many Dad's and Mon's who where unaware of both support sites for parents. I hope they join and  to monitor their Sailors .

It was a wonderful time for us all. Guess what? Out sons and daughters have grown up. Bravo Zulu to all those at RTC that made this happen.

Yes Thank You sooo much Paul for the site...It really help all of us parents to learn more about what our Recruits/Sailors now were going through...And it kind of made a little easier the 9 week training.

RTC made a wonderful job and thanks to all of them for making  great job !!!

Bravo Zulu !!!

Mariza

Thanks Paul again for this wonderful site. I met many Dad' s who had never heard of Navydads. So I told them what they were missing. Look forward to continuing these discussions as our sailors go on with there . It was a great PIR 30 Nov 12. The Meet-N-Greet at Sarges was very good also.

Stephen
