Wow!! Im surprised because my son left the week before your son and his PIR date is June 28th also. I figured that it would be the following week. Thats good news for my friends son because he left on the 8th of May so Im wondering if he will also be on the 28th. That would make a pretty cool trip for me and him!! Good luck to you and your family. Thank you to your son for his service. Congrats!

My son grad is also june 28. Recvd his bos w no cell phone sent home, his charger was in bx anybody else not get son/daughter cell not returned in bx?

Likewise I am surprised as well! My son left on 1 MAY and his PIR is 28 JUN. Maybe they are able to cut back on the some of the P days. Also, the following Thursday is Independence Day and I believe the rest of the Navy may get Friday off as well. No matter what the situation Bill, you get to your son a week earlier and that is a beautiful thing!!

As for the cell phone, yes my son took his. I had to sign for it with FedEx. I received it and the charger. He stuck the cell phone in one, of his shoes. Did you check both shoes?

Hi All,

June 28th seem to be the day... Ty arrived May 1st and he is in Ship 14 Div 242.. If any one else has recruit there let me know?

They are two weeks out and getting close to Battle Stations.

My son David also arrive may 1 but is on ship 3 div 243. Recvd letter yesterday and he is doing great. Said boot camp was pretty easy so far. He is looking forwad to graduation and seeing family..he ships to pensacola after that for A school. His graduation is also june 28. I wonder how many ships graduate that day.

tentative date will come with the form letter.....typically about 7-10 days after arrival at RTC
