My youngest son is in this Ship and Div. Has anyone heard that the PIR has changed to the 20th of Sept.

My Grandson is Divn 347 got letters today he didn't mention a change in PIR date.

My Son is in Ship 13 (Martin Shields) Div 347 as far as we know his PIR is still 13 Sept 2013 if anything were to change I will post it ASAP

Ted Thanks for the reply, we finally got my son's (Bryan) form letter and it is still the 13th of Sep for us to.

Thanks the heavens cause what a nightmare to change plans in mid stream for 7 people.

Has anyone from ship 12, division 349 received the password for the gate pass? When we received the first letter with his PIR date, there was no guest list or password included. We know there are 4 guests allowed so far and we told him over the phone who to put on the list, but I was curious as to why we never received it on paper. How would we get the gate pass without it?

We haven't gotten one either, supposedly my son is sending the form with that info on it, just haven't gotten it yet.

He sure is. Ship 12 Div 349, can't wait to see him graduate on the 13th. Hopefully will get the info on who is going in to see him and the pass info soon. But either way his brothers, fiance, Mom and Step Dad and me are coming to be with him, even if just for the day. Then off to A-School in San Antonio. Where i did my boot training for the Air force. Lackland aFB.

Same here Steven! As far as we know, there are 4 guests allowed for that day. We already know who he is going to put down on the list, so we bought our plane tickets already. We booked our rooms and also booked the rental car. My son will be heading off to A-School in Pensacola for IT.

We are looking forward to possibly driving his car down from NY for him and seeing him for a couple of days once he gets things squared away down there.
