did you consider Milwaukee? Easier airport and easier drive............
roger that...was just wondering. I've flown into Midway for a PIR and into O'Hare for the other PIR.....in both cases traffic was the pits and I've always heard Milwaukee was the way to go!!!

Update on road construction from Milwaukee to Great Lakes...went through there last week, road construction still on going, but was flowing alot better than before, so if you can fly into Milwaukee it is a easier route.
Recieved a phone call Sunday night from our recruit (ship 12 div 397). He sounded real good and told us what they are experiencing so far. He was really upbeat about the whole experience. Can already hear in his voice and conversation, basic is having a real positive effect on him. Can't wait to see him at PIR, only 5 more weeks
Tuesday night and I received a call from my SR Ian Flikkema. He sounded great; seems to be right on track all around. He said they were in the pool today for basic survival swimming. Almost half way there to PIR!
when you talk to your sailors that training takes a shift now...the RDC's will not be yelling all time and the concentration will be on learning and becoming sailors!! BS21 not far off folks!!!
