Navy Dads

I was wondering if there is some sort of schedule they do Battle Stations?  Do they do it by division in sequential order, do they put all the division in all at once, or the divisions randomly?

This is my sons last week in Boot Camp, and his mom and I are rather anxiously waiting on pins and needles to get that call saying he's a Sailor.

I guess no call is better than a status change call.

Always assume that no news is good news.  In general they run two divisions at a time thru BS21.  In years past BS21 typically started on Sunday and could end as late as Thursday.  No set schedule and most times the divisions are not in numerical order. And not all sailors call right after the Capping Ceremony....many get sleep or get to stuff their faces at a pizza or taco party hosted by their RDCs.

Cool!!  Thanks!!  Knowing my son, he's taking his time to call us!!  lol

The waiting is killing me!!!  Everyone at work is wondering if he passed or not.

My son's division didn't get to call for several hours, and sometimes they don't get to call at all. It has to do with whether and when they get to the place with the phones, and how busy it is.

Well I hope it's not too terribly busy when he finishes.

i remember this my poor sons grp had to redo it all over because someone forgot to time them ugh they were up more than 24hrs that i never even got that special call yes they passed said division were combined or some werent in no special order you can see some info on youtube.com under us navy battlestations to get some idea since they cant really talk about what goes on in there it pretty much what they learn in their studies but all hands on via life on a ship

some cool vids here about BS21- be sure to watch the one on the USS Trayer- http://www.navydads.com/forum/topics/battle-stations-21-1

I've watched the BS21 video before.  I've done as much research about all he's gone through and is going through as I can handle.

I really appreciate all the support and advice that is given here.
