When do you generally get the second call from bootcamp? Also, around what time of the evening do you usually receive the call. I know this is hard to guess but, i just wanted to get an idea. My son leaves for boot camp on april 7th and he is ready to go. We are very proud  of him and we will miss him.

second call- maybe week 3-4, and carry your phone as it can come about anytime

Don't get yourself too into looking for that call to come. Can drive you crazy. The best way to look at it is "no news is good news." When it comes around week 4 though is just about the best sound in the world...hearing your sailors voice. Good luck and enjoy the adventure all of you are about to embark upon!

I got my 2nd call april 19th at 3:20pm. What a wonderful surprize. My son is in a 900 division. His group will be participating in the two PIRs before his and his own on june 5th. I have no idea how he got in but he sounds like he is having a blast.
