Just got my first 2 letters from my son and I am relieved he is doing well and liking what he is doing.

I did find out that we are part of the 800 group which is special because its all special ops sailors and a bit more challenging. Love some input on the 800's

Also not sure if everyone is aware of the Recruit Training Command Facebook page. It's the official U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command Facebook Fan page and is intended to provide updated information and discussion on matters relating to Navy boot camp. The Facebook page will periodically show pic's of the different divisions while in training. The pic's are taken and displayed on a as time permit's basis apparently. I haven't seen anything on div 819 yet. The link is https://www.facebook.com/NavyRecruitTrainingCommand/

If you take the time to look in the Boot Camp group you'll see a link to the division album pages.....

My son wrote that this Div is extremely tight knit and works together very well! He is proud to be a part of it. Kudos to our recruits!

Just looked at the division album pages as you suggested and found that they're way more organized than trying to weed through all the division pics and trying to find our division on the Facebook page. Thank you.

That's why I started that page yesterday....it's a work in progress but it's a way to hone in on the division you're interested in and see all the pics in one place. Glad to hear that it's functioning as I had hoped to help ya'll! I'll add more as I can

No 800 photos are ever posted, right? :( I know it's for safety/security.
