I heard from my SR again Friday and he sounded in better spirits. He said they were told earlier in the week that they lost there privilege to call home this week. But Friday they were told that since they are the most dysfunctional division the RDC's felt that if they heard from home maybe they will straighten up. It was a short 13min call, but he sounded better. They have battle stations on Aug... . He said its on the white board in the RDC office. He said there division is down to 68 from 88 with 2 in question since they went to sick hall.

Hey Robb, thanks. Yeah mine called too Friday around 1 p.m. Got ten minutes. He said the same. That they'd done really bad on an inspection. I am assuming they would go to sleep after BS and call us that night.

As I understand you should get a call about 9-9:30 am after BS. The commander at the cap ceremony (around 8:15) will inform them that they are official Sailors and Friday will be nothing but a formal presentation for the family's. What is your SR's rating? and where is school? Mine is OS and he will stay in GL.

I just saw one dads post several weeks ago. He had been waiting all day. Finally got the call that evening, on a Wednesday. I hope it is early. My son is MN and is also staying in GL for 43 days then to San Diego for 89, remainder. So based off what I have been able to put together, they are still in week 5 currently and will begin week 6 later in the week do you think?

My son said there week starts on Wed. So this Wes. They will only have 2 weeks remaining.
