Navy Dads

Biography

FC3 Patrick Cole Ramos had his PIR from Great Lakes on 4/18/08. His "A" school was also at Great Lakes. C school was in San Diego plus additional trainings for updates and conversions.  He was then stationed in Yokosuka Japan. He now serves on the USS Blue Ridge, the Command Ship of the 7th Fleet.

His Fire Control system is CIWS, Close In Weapons System. Its the Phalanx or what some refer to the gatling gun.

FC3 Ramos has been to Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Guinea, Malaysia, Jakarta, Straits of Malacca, Russia- too many ports to mention!  Went to the Sappora Ice and Snow festival with the 7th fleet band and 7th fleet sailors.  He loves the Navy and what he does.

Congratulations, Patrick! Thanks for your service to our great nation!
Patrick sounds like he has it together and all those places in just over two years, amazing!
Congratulations Patrick! Sounds like you already have some awesome memories to share with your own family years from now! You have been places that many do not or never will see. What great opportunities you have in the Navy! Thank you for your Service!
I don't believe I could look down the barrel of one of these, much less be the one that makes sure it fires. Can you imagine what that gun can do? Bravo Zulu, Patrick! I'll sleep much better tonight knowing your on watch.

Thanks again for your service,
E.G.
Congratulation to the sailor of the week!

This is Robbie Maxwell, a lady who was on Tx Country Reporter, sits on the side of the road, letting everyone know who drives from Lufkin to Beaumont, TX, that God should bless our troops. She is holding up a picture of Patrick - below.

Update on Patrick, he made Petty Officer 2nd class on December 3rd, 2010.  They are back visiting the Phillipines and Hong Kong again.
