Cindy are Sailors are without internet. So I'll answer this one. If they fail they will get a chance to pass it again all the way up to the PIR date. Their have been sailors who have graduated battlestations the night before graduation. They give them a second chance to pass battlestations before PIR. Evan said he can't fail it. All you have to do is stay up 24hrs and you pass. So don't worry Morgan will be fine.

Cindy - I believe if they get a different PIR date due to not passing Battlestations the family can still come but on the new PIR date :).

Hey James ~ Regarding battle station. If you fail, do you get a chance to try again before the original PIR date? If you pass the second time, do you get to graduate on time with your division? Not that Morgan will fail, because he won't. I had mentioned to my husband, that should you fail, and end up with a different PIR date, the family is not allowed to attend. Is that correct?

I asked in another group on here but I got to thinking that you sailors would probably be able to direct me to the right place :). I want to buy the PIR DVD for 6-20-08 and can't seem to find the right link to the NEX store or some Navy store that I can order it from. . .could you men help me? Thank you in advance :).

Hi Cindy, I kept a pocket sized Gideon's New Testament with me in boot camp. Not sure a full sized Bible would be a good fit. Glad to hear he's seeking the Lord. We'll continue praying.

Maripat, please join the Gunners Mates group and we'll try to answer your questions. Blessings, Kevin

As far as I know, Morgan has only missed one Sunday from chapel. He has a deeper faith than I realized he did. I send a couple more Bible verses yesterday with my letter. I'll keep encouraging and supporting. I remind him that he's not alone, that God is with him. I didn't know he could have a Bible in bc. If he can, I will send one asap. Does it have to be a certain size?

James, Do you know anything about Gunner's Mate. My son had to choose another job. The two they offered were cook or gunner's mate. He chose GM. Is letter was very short, I don't think he is happy about it. Appreciate anything you could tell me.

Chapel was an encouragement to me in boot camp, then in A school I found a local church that was even more encouraging. If Morgan (or anyone) seeks the Lord and reads the Bible, wherever he is, he'll find grace and peace.
