He's been in Phase 3 about 2 weeks. He found out that they may be on hold for 2 weeks or so, after graduation. So he has been keeping up with his original class, and says he has about 1 week or so to go before he completes all his modes. He got verbal orders 2-3 weeks ago. IA?

Hi Mike-My son is still in A school, and just phased up (phase 2), so he got to leave the base last weekend. He says he's doing good, about ten steps ahead of the rest of his class. When did your sailor find out where he was going from Pensacola? How far along was he, and how long was his total time there? My Sailor is talking on Facebook about going 'IA'...kinda hope he doesn't. Anybody have any thoughts about 'IA'? Good luck to your sailor Mike.

So hows all our Sailors doing? My young Sailor has little over a week to go. The he thinks he will be in a holding company for a couple of weeks. Then home on leave and then catch up with the Nimitz. I guess its changing ports in december to Bremerton, Wa.

Thank you Sir, I'm going up in to New England next weeek I'm going to check it out. Cold winters, but looks like great country.

The only one I have experience with is Norfolk and I love it. I stayed there on business for two weeks and really liked the base and the surrounding area. Humidity is probably pretty bad there but the temps are moderate most of the year. Some awesome lightening storms.

Must be nice, we live in the desert. No bass here, but not much humidity either. Our Sailor can't wait to leave the Pensacola weather. He is praying for Western US, or west pack. How is the base in the upper East coast.

had a great day on the water today. Sure wish my favorite fishing partner would have been there. He'll be home in time for some great fall fishing at least.

Congrates, Nick will be home about the same time. Good luck on the fishing.

Kyle now thinks he will graduate sometimes around the end of Oct. Don't know how long he will have to wait to get his report date but if he comes home late Oct early Nov that will sure be great for me and him to get some awesome bass fishing done.

Boys dad, I found this web site that explains it in detail. http://usmilitary.about.com/od/navyjoin/l/bltrngrestrict.htm
Has a lot of good information.
Please tell him too, would like for Kyle to make some good friends that will help him do good. He's doing real good with his mods but is not real social.
