was gonna say...Mai Tai in Hawaii is the only way to fly (had several there last year!)!!!!!

Phil is correct- watch your OPSEC- my sailor (VAW-125) had an early det and is back in VA so no Tiger Cruise for me - double darn!!!!!

Yes OPSEC applies here so good idea to take discussions with specific info over to private messages (where the public cannot access)

Is it against OPSEC to discuss travel plans for after the upcoming TC on TR. Since the embarkation day changed by one day, I don't know on what day the ship is going to dock in the USA. I talked to our sailor just recently and he didn't know. Just wondering if any of the other Dads have official word?

Steve, I was very lucky to participate in 2 Tiger Cruises. One on the Dewey, the second on the Stennis. Pack lightly, bring a windbreaker, and strong sturdy work boots. You will be in a working environment most of the time on ship. Ask your sailor to attempt to secure you a middle or lower rack, as climbing out of the top rack can be an adventure in rolling seas. I would also bring a combo lock to secure your personal papers in your rack. Lastly bring a duffle type bag, not a suitcase as there is very limited room for storage. Enjoy your time with your sailor!
