The Tiger Cruise was one of the greatest trips of my life.  It was great spending time with my son and all the other sailors.  Seeing behind the scenes of the greatest aircraft carrier on the planet.   WOW!

I could not agree more with Lynn. I was thrilled to meet all of my son's friends and shipmates. All of the Sailors were beyond professional and polite. I will have etched in my memory forever the laughs and tears from this trip. The chiefs were friendly; and meeting and getting to know a whole new circle of friends is priceless. Now when he e mails me and tells me what he is doing or why he can't talk I will understand more completely. Kudos to everyone who made this trip happen. If the occasion arises for you to go do not hesitate. Do it. Hello to all of my new friends at VFA  41, Black Aces! First to fight, First to Strike!

I am still amazed at what an awesome time I had on the Tiger Cruise. Didn't know if I would do well at all with all the ladders but did great! The crew was extraordinary and my son's group was so great. If he had to work, they all pitched in and took us places we needed to go. I am ever grateful to them, to the USS John C. Stennis and to my son for making this happen where we could take this once in a lifetime adventure with him. I do need to sit and write about so many things that were amazing and interesting. Even did OK with the rack once I figured it out. The whole adventure was a blessing!

Had a great time on the tiger. The Stennis was a huge monster in Honolulu and rather small by the time we got to San Diego. If you ever get a chance don't pass it up. Its a once in a lifetime deal. the picture is my Son and I at the Pearl Harbor memorial with the Stennis in the background.

With as narrow as those are, it explains why the last time my sailor was home, he only slept on the couches and with only one blanket.  Also, with one eye open -- was funny. lol

Very close to what I have but gives a great example to all who may not have one.  And as a reminder...Tigers can purchase essentials when they arrive before boarding to save on baggage fees and TSA problems at the airport.  My duffle I carry on with no problems.

if you haven't read through my blogs about my cruise, at least read this page as I tell a little about berthing and the racks:
