I received an email invite from the Capt. Of my other boy's ship for the cruise last year so you may receive an invite via email, but not sure this is SOP across the board. If one is sent, it could be 2 weeks or less before arrival. I did receive confirmation from my Sailor this morning that I'm good to go as planned.

you will NOT hear from the Navy...your sailor will be your contact.  the closest contact to the Navy would be news from the Ombudsman and that would be a good point of contact for dates and the like.....

E-7 to E-9 are still considered Petty Officers, but are considered a separate community within the Navy, unlike NCOs of other branches of service. They have separate berthing and dining facilities (where feasible)

ranks of Petty Officers  are so designated. Junior NCOs (E-4 through E-6 grade), or simply "NCOs

Hi Ron.  You will eat and sleep according to sponsors rank.  Officer Tigers will sleep in staterooms and eat in the wardroom.  Chief Tigers will sleep in CPO berthing and eat in CPO Mess.  Junior Tigers will sleep in crew berthing and eat in the crew mess.  Each Tiger will wear a badge that is color coded to identify their respective sponsors rank.  Hope this answers your question.

Thank you Oscar, I understand Paul's response. Haven't heard from our sailor and we are not going on the tiger cruise, the people that  are are very excited , made me think it can't be too far off.

Joe, I do not have specific times, but what has been shared by my son, it is the Monday when we board. As soon as I have a time, I will post.
