That's the best you Dad's got over this? It was all over the evening news.
Bravo Zulu JCSCSG -- doing the right thing, because it's the right thing to do. Proud of you!
You are absolutly correct. The safety of our sailors and the fleet is of utmost importance. We all have to respect OPSEC untill further notice.
Did you see the article about the USSKidd & Stennis and some pirates and some Iranian sailors in that place? :)
They did good.
I know it can be a pain to always be aware of those guidelines, and I'm sure there are folks that are tired of hearing the Admin team here remind them about that, but the safety of our sailors and the fleet is of utmost importance....we may listen to the political pundints say the world is a safer place but those of us that have our flesh and blood serving in the military know there are those wish to do us harm......
Thank you Paul. Im trying with great respect to OPSEC
Kudos Dave...communicated dates without violating OPSEC guidelines!!!
Hello all, I will be attending both legs of the Stennis Tiger Cruise and will be arriving on Wed. before the anticipated arival date that we can board at the first leg. I will be going as a single. If anyone is interested in sharring the expence of a room. Please let me know. Thank you, Dave
Thank you!
I thought that "legs" were areas on the ship not "stops"...
@Paul-I'm hoping to go on the Vinson with my oldest as well ;-)
@Mother Always-Without revealing the location and movement of the ship, I believe there are two legs of the Tiger Cruise with the last leg being the end of deployment and beginning of leave for most of the sailors :-)
I'm jealous Will...brings back memories of the anticipation of waiting for my cruse in '09 on the Roosevelt!!!!
