LaLaH? Any news on what items Nukes can receive since the recent action taken by COs ? Recent being 2 weeks ago maybe, not sure exactly when this happened.
for past cruises pacemakers have always been an automatic disqual as far as I've seen
this link shows medical issues that were automatic disquals for hte TR's cruise in '09: http://issuu.com/navydadsadmin/docs/tigermedicalscreen_blank?mode=a_p
Ronald, I have not seen the medical forms yet, does it say anything about pacemakers? I know it the past it has been an automatic disqualifyer.
They did the early liberty last time to make more room on the ship for Tigers. :)
I spoke on the phone with my son about 8 hrs ago and he said they were still trying to get some things worked out. He said there is some discussion about offering a certain number of sailors early liberty to be taken from Hawaii.
Not sure, and trying to remember last one -- I think it was put as a "first come first serve" basis to get people to turn stuff in as quickly as possible.
Also -- Nuke Moms on N4Ms site will be sending lots and lots of Love to the ship for Valentine's Day if you Dads and others would like to participate with us. This is open to all areas of ship, not just Nukes. We're planning to send goodie bags with good stuff as well as a few other treats, drink singles, and plenty of cards. We'll be trying to cover as many as we can with plenty to share. Sometimes we do a little better when we cover as many as possible by divisions/departments. Let me know if you want to help. Ship date is set for Fri, Jan 13, 2012 to arrive on time.
Does anyone know how they go about "trimming" the numbers down if it's overbooked? Does it have anything to do with how fast you get your registration back to them?
just wondering if there are any gunners mate dads in the group as these div seems to be gtting my gift bags i sent.
That does not include your cost to get to the ship, or the point that you are entering the ship at. That cost is yours alone. ;)
NavyCash is what they use on the ship to purchase the things that they need. So, yes, initially it will cost your sailor, but you can reimburse him/her. The fees for the Tiger Cruise last time ran around $150 - 200 depending on which leg you were on, or if you were doing the entire thing. Your sailor will still be the best source for info.
