You can see her during liberty at thu. Theres no telling how long she'll be there so if I were you I would head over there as soon as you get the I'm a sailor call after battle stations cause right afyer that they head to thu

Stephen, my wife is n the same place as your fiance. What will happen is she will be given a physical evaluation. She'll be in the RCU ( RECRUIT CARE UNIT) For awhile. There are four phases for her she's in phase 1 now which is recuperating. Phase 2 and 3 are physical therapy. Once she gets to phase 3 she can request to be in the AIT program which allows her to piggy back with other divisions to complete mandatory training events. Once she hits phase 4 she will take a medical pfa and then if she passes that a real pfa then off to battle stations with a random division. Once that's completed shell go to the THU(TEMPORAY HOLD UNIT) Where she'll be given liberty until her orders come in for her to leave for a school.

I got a call from my fiancé on Friday night. She told me she had a stress fracture in her left leg and she will be an extra 6 weeks in boot. I haven't heard anything else. Can I go see her? when will she be able to call me again?

Sounds like you need a healthy distraction. When the baby is sleeping start looking up things to do with your wife and child in Pensacola. Research Pensacola.

those that have to stay home have to be just as strong and determined as those on the lines---- knew you know that and that you are supporting Siera....just figured you might need a NavyDads slap on the back!!!!!

Thanks Tom. I don't remember it being this hard for me when I was away during my time n the army. She's brave and strong and I'm so proud of her. I tell her that a lot. Its days like this that are hard. Rainy and nasty with the baby sick n crying the whole day. Makes me wish I had some relief. I have so much respect for her cause I don't know how she did this, plus nursing school, plus cleaning the house, plus family readiness group for my brigade. She's incredible
