if you check the PIR date link (Click Here) you'll see the division scheduled for PIR....figure 80 sailors per division as a very rough estimate is what I've used in the past

If you take the shuttle to PIR, I recommend still printing your parking pass because you can use it to get on main base all weekend if you are with your sailor. They won't let you on without it. There is a big NEX on base that sells the uniforms and sometimes your sailor needs things that you can help him get. Driving on base truely beats walking because the base is huge.

Craig-Yes I did, thanks for the reminder though. With 14 divisions graduating, the Meet And Greet will be huge. Hope I find you...

reminder also....you need that gate pass if you are planning to drive on base and park there for PIR.....if you take the shuttle (highly recommneded!) you won't need the pass

Paul - Did you print up your gate pass for PIR?
They say we will have about 200 people attending the Meet & Greet the day before the PIR....

Jim C-Glad she made it there safely...your part of the journey will be writing letters. My son Graduates next week, and he wanted the Yankees' scores, and newspaper clippings to hear a little from home. Enjoy the Ride-for the longest time it feels like this time is taking forever to pass, and here is Grad day on the horizon. Send her stuff she liked to know about before she went in, she'll appreciate it! You'll get a form letter in about a week/week and a half that will give you her address...that should give you a little head start with your pen. Good Luck to You and Yours!
